Aurielle is my other “birthday twin” niece. You already met Serenity. Two nieces born several weeks apart and as opposite as summer and winter. I love how different all my little nieces and nephews are.. with their funny little personality quirks and adorable little faces. Aurielle is also known as “Ari” or “baby” (because she’s the youngest of three little blonde-haired, blue-eyed girlies). Ari loves to sing songs at the top of her lungs, talk on the phone (really! she talks to me!), wear pretty coats and chase pets around the house. She’s goofy as all-get-out… yet sometimes, those big blue eyes open wide, she looks about pensively and her round face is as striking as any cherub.
I confess: I stare at these two images over and over.
On the day of our photo shoot, it was cooooold. Frigid cold. We started inside by a big old window, for these editorial-type shots. For the record, Ari is a little young for ice skating…. but she pulls off the ice-skating-princess look quite well, if I may say so.

A stuffed pig. Named… I don’t know. He’s a cutie though.
We ventured out into the cold for a few snow-shots! Ari had a blast! Look at that joyous face! And… I fell in the snow. Classy, I know.
