They met back in the fun and awkward days of high school, thanks to a mutual friend. They’re State College locals. Which is rarer than you could imagine, in this college town of transplants and who-knows-what-accent-I’ll-hear-at-the-grocery-store. Josh and Sara knew each other. Kinda. Then they moved far, far away from Pennsylvania and far from each other. One day, Josh and Sara (before they were Josh & Sara) both moved back to the State College area. Josh wanted to see Sara. She wasn’t that interested, but decided to come out one night after the urging of their mutual friend. They flirted through the summer evening at Faccia Luna and after the first official date on a day permanently etched in Sara’s mind forever. October 6th.
It’s surreal. After all they’ve been through, they are thrilled and happy and overjoyed to be getting married on… October 6th. Such a perfect touch for a couple genuinely in love with each other. Really. All they could do was smile and kiss. While I exclaimed about the pretty evening light and their cuteness. We had a fun session running around Penn State‘s University Park campus (the mark of true State College locals is photos at the Lion Shrine). Congratulations, Josh & Sara! Can’t wait for your wedding day!
